Originally from Raleigh, North Carolina, Nicole moved to New Jersey 16 years ago, where she built a successful career in transportation safety consulting before deciding to follow her true passion—working with animals. In 2022, she founded Fancy Pawz Pet Sitting, LLC, combining years of hands-on experience with dogs, cats, and small animals with her lifelong dedication to animal care.
Nicole’s journey began as a veterinary receptionist and technician, where she rescued her pit bull Storm and a black cat named Binx. Over the past two decades, she has volunteered, fostered, and supported numerous rescue organizations across several states, helping countless animals find balance, trust, and loving homes.
A graduate of the Victoria Stilwell Academy for Dog Training and Behavior, Nicole is also a proud member of the Association for Professional Dog Trainers – International (APDT) and the International Association of Animal Behavior Consultants (IAABC).
Her training philosophy focuses on the whole dog—mind, body, and emotional well-being—using only positive reinforcement and fear-free, science-based methods. By emphasizing compassion, structure, and understanding, Nicole helps families and their dogs build confidence, trust, and lifelong harmony together.
